David Madumere is a Nigerian born, Canadian-based abstract artist whose work explores the conscious and  subconscious mind. His works are inspired by the inner frameworks of thought, emotions, and memory. Figures, shapes, and abstract forms are combined to give meaning, representing growth and the evolution of self. These works invite viewers to engage with the work both visually and emotionally.

David is inspired by the relationship between abstraction and thought. Life experiences,
emotions, and lessons that shape who we are today. Each piece encourages reflection, asking viewers to consider not only the artist’s perspective but also their own emotional journey.
